Getting to Manasota Key

Manasota Key is located south of Sarasota and Venice. It’s about halfway between Tampa and Fort Myers. Sarasota (SRQ, 40-minute drive) or Fort Myers (RSW, 60-minute drive) are the nearest larger airports to consider flying in and out of. However, Tampa and Orlando are possibilities. Tampa is about a 90-minute drive and Orlando is a 2.5-hour drive. You can sneak in a day at Disney! Depending on where you live, Allegiant offers non-stop flight to Punta Gorda (PGD 40-minute drive)
Only a short bridge separates it from the mainland, giving even more water experiences for you to enjoy with the calmer Lemon Bay.
